Service Terms

These Service Terms outline how Complete Trash waste removal and trash pickup services operate, including scheduling, service limits, and customer responsibilities.

Our Service Terms form part of the Complete Trash Limited Terms & Conditions and apply in addition to our:

 

Each Service Terms sets out plan-specific rules, accepted materials, and usage requirements. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions prevail.

 

Service Terms 1: General Waste

Accepted Waste

  • Household general waste

  • Bagged waste suitable for landfill

Not Accepted

  • Hazardous or toxic materials

  • Liquids or wet waste

  • Hot ashes

  • Batteries, chemicals, oils

  • Building or demolition materials

Usage Rules

  • Waste must be bagged

  • Bins must not be overloaded or compacted

  • Bin lids must close fully

Weight Limits

  • Must not exceed the 96kg safe lifting weight for the bin provided

Contamination

  • Contaminated bins may not be collected

  • Additional charges or service suspension may apply

 

Service Terms 2: Recycling

Accepted Recycling (Clean & Loose)

  • Plastics #1, #2, and #5

  • Glass bottles and jars

  • Aluminium and steel cans

  • Cardboard and paper

Not Accepted

  • Soft plastics

  • Food-contaminated items

  • Plastic bags

  • Broken glass or ceramics

  • Hazardous waste

Usage Rules

  • Recycling must be clean, loose, and dry

  • No bagged recycling unless approved

  • Items must be placed loosely in the bin

Contamination

  • Heavily contaminated bins may not be collected

  • Repeat contamination may result in service suspension

 

Service Terms 3: Green Waste

Accepted Green Waste

  • Grass and hedge clippings

  • Leaves and garden waste

  • Small branches and pruning's

  • Flowers and plants

Branch Size Limits

  • Maximum branch length: 750mm

  • Maximum branch thickness: 75mm

Not Accepted

  • Soil, stones, or rubble

  • Treated or painted timber

  • Flax, Palm fronds, Cabbage Tree or bamboo

  • Food waste or general rubbish

Usage Rules

  • Green waste must fit fully within the bin

  • Bin lids must close

  • No plastic bags unless compostable and approved

 

Service Terms 4: Pay As You Go (PAYG) Stickers

Sticker Requirements

  • Stickers must be clearly visible and correctly applied

  • The number of stickers required depends on the size of the bin or bag

General Guide

  • 60L rubbish bag (standard): One $5 sticker

  • 240L General Waste Wheelie bin: Two $5 stickers

  • 240L Recycling Wheelie bin: Three $5 stickers

  • 50L Mixed Recycling: One $2 sticker

Usage Rules

  • Incorrect or insufficient stickers may result in non-collection

  • Stickers are single-use only
